REMINDER: Deadline for hotel reservations approaching

As a reminder, a block of rooms has been reserved for NASPH as “Boston College Philosophy” at:
Courtyard by Marriott, Brookline
40 Webster Street
Brookline, MA 02446
Reservation phone: 866-296-2296
Hotel phone: 617-734-1393
Hotel Fax: 617-734-1392
Mention “Boston College Philosophy” for special rate of $175/night
Deadline for special rate: August 23
The conference organizers wish to emphasize that, after the reservation deadline of August 23, the block of rooms will be released to the general public. Since the meeting is taking place on a football weekend, it is likely that the hotel is already turning people away from our block of rooms. These rooms will therefore go rather quickly after the 23rd, and the rate will be much higher as well. In addition, it will be very difficult to find alternate hotel accommodations near Boston College for the meeting after that date, not only because of the football game but also because it is the beginning of the school year for many colleges and universities in the Boston area, and parents who bring their sons and daughters to school will be taking up hotel space as well.

We therefore urge everyone who plans to attend the conference to make their travel plans as soon as possible.

Regardless of event, it is definitely always a good idea to book as early as possible. It will make your trip that much more trouble-free.

Broome has a point and I learned that the hard way. We once went out of town on a whim. It took us forever to find a place to stay for the night.

I would have to suggest a very early reservation most especially if you would want to stay for summer or Christmas, or any other holiday. We are going to a london luton hotel and it took us 2 months to wait before our actual reserved date.

It's a good thing that there were cheap hotels in paddington ready to accommodate us a week before our stay. But I'll still be cautious next time, though. The earlier, the better.

Well if you guys are planning on going to London someday, instead of booking for a hotel, you could look for Central London apartments online because it would be much cheaper and convenient.

Thanks for the reminder but if your schedule is a problem, then try the downtown new orleans hotels. A few months ago I got reserved there in less than four hours and it was hassle free. Not to mention the great accommodation my family experienced.

This is a old post but the method is still effective. My style is like this: Call the hotel for reservation then contact air phil express. I'm sure with my favorite airline cause they offer good customer support. They never let me down. One day is all I need.

I'll be buying a house near the hotel since I think we will be moving in here sooner. I suggested that to my mom since we are always making reservations in the same vicinity that's why I think why not buy a place where we could stay in whenever we are attending an event in Boston.

I’m planning to visit the famous Brown’s hotel, I just hope I could also look for online reservations like this one.

Spring 2013 is booked full of weddings this spring. So my only hope is for the summer when I book a room to travel.

This is good for the business. I think posting this informs a lot of people. Blog posts like this is easier to spread.

Is there any space for rent applicable for business purposes in hotels? I was just wondering if an outside business can be done in some hotel premises.

Whoops! I'll make sure to make my reservation there the soonest time possible as soon as I left my office, I guess. Especially now that, I have to go attend some event there in MA.

This is a simple reminder but it contributes a lot in the customer relation aspect. Notice like this helps a lot with both parties.
